The Millses. A late summer family session on a private farm in Eastern York, Pennsylvania.

We ended up having to reschedule these photos twice due to weather and, as luck would have it, the day that worked out for everyone’s schedules ended up being the hottest day of the year.  The temperature reached a whopping 105 degrees with about 1000% humidity.  SO.  MUCH.  SWEATING.

Even with the unbearable heat to contend with, everyone stayed in good spirits–even the toddler!  That is saying a lot when your clothing ends up soaked in sweat and 5 shades darker in color than when you set out.  Thankfully we were all able to take refuge in our cars with the A/C blasting while traveling from one location to another on their family horse farm.  The evening ended at sunset by a special willow tree on the property.  The tree had been a wedding gift to Jenna&Dan.  Four years later, the tree that started as a sapling has grown quite a bit.  Their nephew sure got a kick out of playing in the leaves of the willow tree too!

I am super thankful to this family for being willing to deal with the downright oppressive heat, humidity, and occasional swarms of bugs so that we could capture some sweet photos for them.
